How do I get a quote on a product?

Thats simple! Just head over to either our custom apparel or digital print page, select the product type you require and at the bottom of each page you will find a quote request form. Just fill that out and we will get back to you very soon with your quote.

Does the price per Item change based on the quantity I order?

Typically yes. This is certainly the case with custom apparel and many of our digital print products. The more you order, the cheaper the cost per unit. This will all be detailed in your quote.

How long is my quote valid for?

Quotes are valid for 21 days from when they were originally sent. After that period has ended you may need to request a revised quote. This is due to constantly changing shipping and production costs.

Does my quote include shipping?

If you have entered a valid shipping address with your quote request form submission we will include shipping costs in your quote. This will be shown as a separate expense.

Do you deliver to anywhere in Australia?

We ship Australia wide. You can request a shipping quote before you decide to go ahead with your job, we will just need a valid Australian address including post code. If you live in the Cairns area, however, delivery is free!

What are my shipping options?

We can ship to you via Aramax, Startrack or Australia Post registered couriers. Standard delivery is typically 3 - 5 working days, or express is 1 - 3 working days. If you have supplied us with a valid delivery address including postcode, we will include shipping cost in your quote.

How much does shipping cost?

Shipping costs vary based on your delivery address and the size and quantity of your order. Once your details are confirmed, this will all be calculated and sent to you in your quote.

Can I track my order?

You can! Once your order has been produced and shipped, we will update you with tracking details via email.

Do you offer free delivery for local orders (Cairns)?

We sure do! Delivery is free in the Cairns City, Gordonvale, and the Cairns Northern Beaches.

My product arrived damaged. What should I do?

You should let us know straight away. We carefully check every item that is shipped to our customers, and we take quality control very seriously. If you receive a damaged item, please photograph it and email us at orders@diskoprintco.com.au. We will assess the damage and get back to you with a solution.

What payment methods do you accept?

We accept credit card payments, direct bank transfers and Paypal payments. Credit card transactions may incur a 2% surcharge. Disko is a non-cash business.

Do I need to pay for my order before it is printed?

Yes you do. Once you have accepted your quote we will send you across an invoice which will include all production and shipping costs. Once that payment has been made, production will commence on your order.

Can I cancel my order?

You can cancel any quoted order at anytime, but if you have accepted your quote and paid the invoice for your job, the order can no longer be cancelled. We order blank apparel and production materials based on your accepted quote, so at that point the job can not be cancelled.

Can you give me more information on a specific product?

We can. Just let us know what product you're interested in and we can send you more details and photos.

How long will it take you to print my job?

Typical turnaround on most jobs is 10 working days, but this can be expedited if your job is needed urgently. We will give you a rough timeframe based on our current workload in your quote.

Can I see samples of your work?

You can. We have print sample packs available for $10.00 GST inc. + shipping costs. Sample packs contain some of our printed business cards, flyers, posters and other printed products. We can't always supply samples of our blank apparel products however, as that depends on what we currently have in stock.

Can you check my artwork for me?

We can. If you're unsure if your logo or artwork is of sufficient quality, of if you're not sure if the file format is suitable, you can send it across for us to check over. We will assess the file and let you know if we think it will be suitable for printing. You can email files to us via orders@diskoprintco.com.au or upload a file to us here.

What file formats do you accept?

We accept all vector file formats (AI, EPS, SVG and vector PDF). We ask that you outline all fonts in vector based graphics before you submit them if possible. With rasterised graphics we recommend a minimum resolution of 300dpi and we accept all standard file types (JPG, PNG, TIFF, PDF).

I can't find my logo file. Can you help?

It can be frustrating if you can't get your hands on a high resolution or vector based version of your logo, and it's a problem we encounter with a lot of clients. If this is the case, we can have a designer vector trace your logo for a small fee. We can then print it flawlessly, and supply you with vector logo files for future use.

My artwork file is low resolution. Can you help?

We sure can. Send us what you have and we will take a look. Sometimes low resolution graphics can be upscaled or enhanced digitally. Our design team can assess what you have to work with and let you know if it will be suitable for printing.

Do I own the artwork you create for me?

You do. Any artwork that Disko creates for you becomes yours once your invoice is paid and your project is complete. We can supply created artwork in any file format required.

Will I receive an artwork proof before printing?

Yes, you will. We proof all artwork before anything is put into production. Proofs are sent out via email, and nothing is printed without client approval. When you receive a proof from Disko, you can give us the thumbs up or request any changes required.

Will my artwork colours print acurately?

The digital printing processes used at Disko utilize CMYK colour printing (a combination of cyan, magenta, yellow and black inks). If your supplied artwork is comprised of CMYK graphics (or if you can give us CMYK colour codes), then we can print your colours as closely as possible. It is good to be aware that printed products can differ in colour from how they appear on your digital screen. Screens are comprised of RGB graphics, so when translated to CMYK print, there can be some slight colour variation. The calibration of the screen on which you're looking at your graphics is also a factor, as colours never look exactly the same on two different devices. We strive to print your colours as accurately as possible, but please bare in mind that they can look slightly different from your screen. If this is a concern, speak to us about printing a colour sample before going into full production.

How can I upload a file to you?

You can either email your artwork across via orders@diskoprintco.com.au (please include your name and contact number) or for larger files you can upload directly to our Dropbox account here.

What kinds of Printing methods do you offer?

We use high quality DTF (direct to film) heat press transfers. You can find more information on our DTF transfers here. Disko will also offer hand screen printing soon - our workshop is currently in the setup phase, so watch our site and social media for more on screen printing shortly.

How can I check the size and fit of an apparel product?

Our apparel suppliers websites have information for size and fit of each of their products. You can find links to each site here.

How long will my printed apparel product last? What is the best way to wash it?

Our DTF transfer products are tested for up to fifty wash cycles. In regards to wash cycle settings we recommend the following to maximise the lifespan of your custom apparel; cold water gentle wash with the item turned inside out. Iron inside out if required. Do not tumble dry. Don’t dry in direct sunlight.

My custom apparel product doesn't fit. Can I exchange it?

Unfortunately no. Once your piece of apparel has been printed it cannot be returned. We recommend that you check our product supplier sites carefully, as they have detailed size information on each product. If the fit of your apparel is a concern, let us know. If we have blanks in the style and size you require, we may be able to send you a sample.

Where can you apply prints on a t-shirt?

We can apply custom graphics to the front, back and sleeves of a t-shirt. The front graphic can be a large, or just a small pocket sized print. We can also apply custom labelling graphics to the inside neck of the t-shirt with your company logo. We will provide you a full mock-up of all intended prints via email for your approval before production.

Can you help me with a t-shirt design?

We sure can! We love helping customers with awesome new t-shirt designs. We have an experienced design and illustration team that can create custom graphics for you in a variety of styles. Just get in touch and give us some details on what you're after and we can get started on a proof for you.

You created a t-shirt design for me. Can you send me the artwork file?

Absolutely. Once your print project is complete and your invoice is paid we can send you across the high resolution artwork in any required format. You retain ownership of any custom artwork created for you by Disko.

Do you offer discounts for bulk orders?

We do. Let us know how many pieces of apparel you require and in white styles and sizes. We factor in the amount when calculating your quote. We can even give you a quote on multiple quantities - just let us know.

Will my supplied designs / intellectual property be safe?

They will. We take the security and privacy of your design, intellectual property and customer data very seriously. Artwork files are maintained on a secure Dropbox server. None of your intellectual property will be used or sent to any third party without your express consent.
